The Suzuki S-Presso is awaiting it's Indian launch on the 30th of September, while the due date is still a little way to go, a few images of Suzuki's Micro-SUV have been released by the company.
Judging by the pictures, the S-Presso gets all-black interiors with orange accents and a centrally positioned instrument cluster while Suzuki'sSmartPlay Studio 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system housed inside a large circular outline that sits just beneath the cluster. The dashboard, on the whole, is very reminiscent of the Mini Cooper.
The use of the color orange can be seen in abundance inside the cabin with infotainment screen border and AC vent border being the eye candy. Even the seats feature similar color treatment partially. The Maruti S-Presso measures 3,665 mm in length, 1,520 mm in width and 1,549 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,380 mm and a gross weight of 1,170 kg.
Powering the S-Presso Micro SUV will be a BS-VI K10B 1.0-liter petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission that will output to 68 BHp and 90 Nm of peak torque.
Apart from this, the S-Presso is based on Suzuki's Heartect platform and will also comply with the new crash test norms. The S-Presso will also offer a bunch of safety features like dual airbags, ABS and EBD, rear parking sensors, a high-speed alert system, and Driver and passenger seat belt warning.
The Suzuki S-Presso will be positioned above the Alto 800 upon launch and the S-Presso will rival the likes of Renault Kwid and Datsun Go.
